The Multidimensional Attitudes Scale Toward Persons With Disabilities (MAS) examines attitudes toward persons with disabilities using a multidimensional construct of attitude containing affective, cognitive, and behavioral dimensions. The affective attitude component reflects the emotional underpinnings of an attitude. The cognitive component reflects the individual's ideas, thoughts, beliefs, opinions, or mental conceptualizations. The behavioral component reflects the individual's intent or willingness to behave in a certain manner.
